About me
Hi, I'm Steven; I can provide manual driving lessons in Aberdeen .

I have lived in Aberdeen all my life so it’s safe to say I know the area pretty well. I have 4 gorgeous girls who I adore, and when I’m not working I make sure I spend as much time as possible with them. I’m a very proud dad and I love being a family man, it is a main priority for me.

Previous to joining the driver training industry, I worked in retail management for over twenty years, managing several Aldi stores within Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. What I loved most about my role as store manager was coaching and development of my team. Seeing a team member grow and develop was pure job satisfaction and a pleasure knowing that I had helped them on their journey, working their way up the ranks all the way to manager. Working in retail was stressful at times and unsocialable working hours, however this aspect of the career is something I miss - however I know I can take these same skills and apply them to driving instruction with my pupils.

After leaving the world of retail and to support myself during my driving instructor training I was a courier driver for DPD. Again this was a job I enjoyed and gave me extensive knowledge of the city and to find good routes to take my pupils on. I am so excited to be able to share my knowledge and experiences with my pupils, helping them achieve their goals and ultimately pass their driving test, acquiring a valuable life skill but also becoming a safe driver for life.

I chose to work with LDC as the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I also passed my own driving test with an LDC instructor albeit that was some time ago but that left a lasting impression on me!

LDC uses the latest adult coaching and training techniques so you can be assured the training I give will be of the highest standard. My lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.
